Stage — floor monitors
Read-only screens for talent and crew. No Start. No Pause.
A Stage link opens a display page. People look at it. They should not operate the show from it. Create Stage links on the event tab Stage & Broadcast.
What you see (read mode)
Typical Stage screen content:
- Hint like Stage monitor — read only.
- The Stage name you chose (example: Lectern).
- Big remaining time (same clock as Control).
- Active segment, Next segment, and Cue message (when Control saved one).
What you never get on Stage
These Control buttons do not exist here:
- No Start / Pause / Resume / Reset.
- No Adjustments (± seconds / minutes).
- No Auto-advance switch.
- No way to change the rundown.
- If the link was revoked, the screen can go blank — that is intentional.
Personalize on the Stage screen
Button: Personalize (on the Stage page itself). This only changes how THIS link looks — it does not give operator power.
- Save — keep the layout for this Stage link.
- Cancel — leave without saving.
- Recommended grid — reset to a simple layout.
- Density / Contrast — readability on the physical screen.
- Gear icons — show/hide title or notes on widgets.
How to brief talent (say this out loud)
A one-minute speech:
- “This screen shows how much time you have left.”
- “Please do not tap it to ‘help’ — only looking.”
- “If the number pauses, the operator paused on purpose.”
- “If you see a message, that is a cue from the desk.”
