ShowTiming is SaaS software for live-event timing and rundown synchronisation. It is not a social network, marketplace, public publishing platform or public messaging service.
Content created in ShowTiming is mainly accessible to: the Account Holder via the Control Room; people to whom the Customer voluntarily sends a Stage Link; people to whom the Customer voluntarily sends a Broadcast Link.
This charter defines: prohibited content and behaviour; reporting procedures; possible moderation measures; and safeguards for Users affected by a measure.
This charter applies to every User of the Service, including: the Account Holder; the professional Customer; anyone using or viewing a Stage Link; anyone using or viewing a Broadcast Link; and anyone reporting content or behaviour.
It applies notably to: Event names and titles; segments, schedules, counters and rundowns; cue messages; names of performers, artists, technicians or contractors; information shown on Stage or Broadcast screens; Access Links; data and content entered in the Service; and support exchanges.
Each Customer is responsible for content they create, import, display or distribute via ShowTiming.
The Customer must notably: hold the rights needed for the content used; respect intellectual-property and image rights; respect privacy and confidentiality; comply with personal-data rules; not use ShowTiming to distribute content contrary to law, the Terms of Use or Terms of Sale; and share Stage and Broadcast Links only with authorised persons.
ShowTiming does not generally and systematically monitor all Customer content. However, ShowTiming may review content when it is reported, when an anomaly or security risk is detected, when a legal obligation requires it, or when review is needed for technical support.
It is prohibited to use ShowTiming to create, store, display, transmit or distribute any content that is: illegal or contrary to public order; infringing copyright, trademarks, designs, trade secrets or other intellectual-property rights; harming a person’s image, privacy, honour, reputation or dignity; defamatory, insulting, threatening, harassing or humiliating; discriminatory, hateful, racist, antisemitic, sexist, homophobic, transphobic or inciting hatred or violence; apologising for, provoking or inciting terrorism, crimes or offences; fraudulent, misleading, false or amounting to identity theft; containing a virus, malware, harmful code, fraudulent link or security bypass; aimed at unlawfully collecting personal data or credentials; unlawfully revealing personal, confidential or sensitive data; using ShowTiming as a fire-safety, evacuation, regulatory-control, emergency-alert or personal-protection system; or intended to bypass offer limits, access rights, payment mechanisms or Service security.
Sensitive data such as health data, political opinions, religious beliefs, biometric data, data concerning sex life or criminal data must not be entered in the Service without ShowTiming’s prior written agreement and appropriate specific safeguards.
The Customer alone is responsible for: content entered in Events; information shown on Stage or Broadcast screens; who receives Access Links; revoking or regenerating a Link if disclosure is suspected; required authorisations, licences and consents; and informing people whose data they enter in the Service.
The Customer must treat Stage and Broadcast Links as confidential. Anyone with an active link may be able to view displayed information, according to Service rights and settings.
Anyone may report to ShowTiming content, a link or behaviour they consider unlawful, dangerous or contrary to the Terms of Use, Terms of Sale or this charter.
Reports must be sent to hello@show-timing.com. Recommended subject: “ShowTiming content or link report”.
To help processing, a report should include where possible: the reporter’s identity and contact details; the precise Stage or Broadcast Link URL if available; a precise description of the content or behaviour; the date and time it was viewed; the reason for the report; the rights or rules that appear violated; any useful document, screenshot or evidence; and a good-faith statement that the information is accurate to the reporter’s knowledge.
ShowTiming may request further details when a report is incomplete or does not identify the content concerned.
ShowTiming handles reports proportionately, based on: apparent seriousness; potentially unlawful character; risk to people, the Service or third parties; precision of information provided; available technical evidence; and applicable legal obligations.
ShowTiming may notably: take no action if a report is clearly unfounded or insufficiently documented; ask the Customer to correct, remove or change content; temporarily disable a Stage or Broadcast Link; limit certain features; temporarily suspend the Account; remove or make content inaccessible; delete an Account or terminate the contract for serious or repeated breach; and provide required information to a competent authority when legally required.
Notice-and-action mechanisms under the European framework for intermediary services may apply; their exact application to ShowTiming depends on actual features and must be reviewed if ShowTiming evolves toward public content publishing or sharing.
ShowTiming may take immediate action without prior notice when needed to: prevent a serious risk to Service security or integrity; stop clearly unlawful activity; avoid imminent harm to a person or third party; respond to a competent authority; prevent fraud, intrusion or security bypass; stop serious non-payment or abusive chargebacks; or stop distribution of content clearly contrary to these rules.
Where circumstances allow, ShowTiming then informs the Customer concerned of the measure and its reason.
Except where impossible, urgent, legally prohibited or where it would compromise Service security, ShowTiming informs the Account Holder concerned of: the measure taken; its scope; the main reason(s); possible steps to regularise the situation; and the ability to submit observations.
This information may be given by email, in-Account notice or any other suitable means.
An Account Holder subject to removal, restriction, suspension or deletion may challenge the decision by writing to hello@show-timing.com. Recommended subject: “Challenge to a moderation measure”.
The request must state: the requester’s identity; the Account email; the measure challenged; the reasons; and any useful supporting evidence.
ShowTiming re-examines the request within a reasonable time given seriousness and complexity.
A challenge does not automatically suspend the measure, notably where a security risk, legal obligation or clearly unlawful content is involved.
Abusive use of the reporting mechanism is prohibited.
Abusive reports include notably: knowingly false reports; repeated reports intended to harm a Customer, User or ShowTiming; clearly unfounded or harassing requests; reports aimed at removing lawful content; and use of the mechanism to settle a commercial dispute unrelated to content or behaviour contrary to the rules.
ShowTiming may limit handling of clearly abusive reports, without prejudice to any other appropriate action.
ShowTiming may retain information about reports, moderation decisions, related exchanges and necessary technical evidence: for as long as needed to handle the report; then for as long as needed to defend its rights, manage a dispute or comply with a legal obligation.
Support tickets and related materials are retained for three (3) years after ticket closure or Account closure, whichever is later, except for a legal obligation, dispute or justified special need.
Personal data collected in a report or moderation procedure is processed to: examine the report; prevent abuse, fraud and security breaches; protect the rights of ShowTiming, Customers, Users and third parties; comply with applicable legal obligations; and manage disputes and competent-authority requests.
Applicable details are in the Privacy Policy: https://show-timing.com/en/privacy.
ShowTiming may amend this charter notably for: feature changes; adding collaboration, public sharing, comments or content publishing; changes in applicable law; changes to reporting or moderation mechanisms; or lessons from security or abuse.
The applicable version is at: https://show-timing.com/en/moderation-policy. It complements the Terms of Use (https://show-timing.com/en/terms); in case of conflict on moderation and reporting, the Terms of Use prevail.
Material changes will be notified to Customers by an appropriate means when necessary.
